D'cheya Sykes

I am a Full Spectrum Doula offering holistic, heart-centered support for mothers and families who are ready to be active participants in their journey. My role is to guide, educate, and hold space—so you can move through pregnancy, birth, and beyond with confidence, knowledge, and trust in your body.

My journey into birth work has been deeply intentional and layered with both clinical experience and spiritual calling.

I began my path in healthcare as a phlebotomist, then expanded my knowledge as a medical assistant and dental assistant. My passion for caring for others continued to grow, leading me to become a licensed esthetician after attending Douglas J. Aveda Institute. I later continued my education at Macomb Community College, beginning nursing studies—until I realized my true calling was in maternal health.

Becoming a doula was the moment everything aligned. Shortly after, I began my journey into midwifery training, where I continue to grow in both skill and purpose.
