Doula Support Designed for You

If you're looking for a supportive doula whose focused on you and your little one, SRBC in Detroit was created just for you.

Get Support

Doulas are the Guides that you need, not just want.

At your prenatal visits, your OB or midwife usually asks if you have any questions. Even if you do, you might not ask everything on your mind—those appointments are short, and there’s a lot to think about. Pregnancy brings so many changes to your body that it can feel overwhelming to even know what to ask. And searching online can sometimes make things more confusing instead of helping. On top of that, it’s easy to start thinking about all the “what ifs” when it comes to birth.

Pregnancy and birth are some of the biggest changes you’ll ever experience, so it’s completely normal to have questions and even feel a little anxious.

That’s why it’s so important to have someone you trust to help you find answers and talk things through. Having a guide, like a doula, can turn something that feels overwhelming into something that feels more manageable and supported.

We provide the Support

& Resources

If you’re asking yourself…

  • How am I going to get through more weeks or months? Can I even grow more?
  • Will I know if it’s time to go into the hospital when I’m in labor?
  • What will labor feel like?
  • Will my partner be able to help me during labor?

….or any similar questions, you’re not alone.

In fact, probably everyone who has experienced pregnancy has asked themselves these things, even if it’s not their first child. That’s why doulas exist!

My job is to help you gain as much knowledge about the process of pregnancy and birth as you need to feel confident in the next stages. Going into the unknown of birth can be a lot easier when you have a dedicated doula by your side providing support and resources along the way.

Postpartum doula support services can last anywhere from a few visits to more than 3 months. I'll develop a customized plan for you.

Meal Prepping

Available as part of your postpartum doula support package or as a stand alone service.

In your home during the newborn phase, I'll come cook and prep the food so you won't have to worry about it.

  • Only available once a week.

The term doula comes from the Greek word meaning “woman who serves.”

That is exactly what I do- I enter during pregnancy and meet your immediate needs. Whether that is education, creating a birth plan, or having a plan to manage postpartum mental health, my job is to make the transition to parenthood feel easier. This includes the process of labor and delivery, when I will offer physical and emotional support, helping you to make decisions and feel prepared along the way.
